C.A.P. Day

Youth Revive’s Community Action Project Day is like a science fair! C.A.P. Day is the capstone for students participating in our semester long Ignite Me Program. Students gather to present their researched action projects providing solutions to real issues affecting their community. Local officials and community leaders are invited to witness the impact of our program as our young revivalist lead the way for change in their own communities!

"C.A.P. Day was an amazing experience for me."

C.A.P Day was an amazing experience for me. I had the opportunity to share my thoughts on my topic, teen pregnancy, to the judges. I also received their feedback on my project. It allowed me to hear other opinions about teen pregnancy. I learned many new interesting facts about teen pregnancy. For example teen moms don’t have to pay taxes, and the government faces huge loss of revenue. I really enjoyed C.A.P Day I would recommend any student participate in this event!

"If they keep paying attention to that type of detail then they will be able to accomplish so much!"

The Black on Black Crime Project and presentation. These 2 students put in an amazing effort in research into this and had a good answer for any question asked.

They researched into building a budget for what the costs would be to make this one day symposium to help get people off the street from gangs into jobs.

If they keep paying attention to that type of detail then they will be able to accomplish so much!
